Nhung Nguyen is a Ph.D. student in the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Kansas. Nhung has experience in journalism and strategic communication for various international and national governmental and non-governmental organizations. She has master's degrees in communication, political sciences and sustainable economic development. She is passionate about promoting sustainable development, supporting vulnerable communities and reducing inequality. Nhung’s research interest is ranged among social media, social development and public health. She enjoys yoga, practicing mindfulness and promoting a minimalist lifestyle.
