Chrysler has just come up with a plan to give away gas cards to all their customers who buy a Chrysler car. The gas card will guarantee customers that they will only have to may up to $2.99/gallon for the next 3 years. Will this card increase the sell of their cars?

I think this would be a great idea since gas prices are definitely soaring!
It seems like a great incentive, but Chrysler doesn't have an amazing inventory of cars to choose from. I really doubt that it will have much impact on people's car buying decisions. It's an interesting tactic though.
This is really interesting and hopefully other companies will look into doing this. Honestly, if I was buying a new car having a fixed gas price would definitely be a pro to any Chrysler car. I'm not saying it would make or break my decision, but it could be the deciding factor if I was torn between two different companies.
