Once again we find Britney Spears in the news. Late Saturday night she was driving a new 2008 Mercedes Benz on the highway and crashed into another vehicle. Police reported that no one was injured and there was no sign of car damage to either vehicle. Although this accident was very minor I still think it is pathetic that we see any type of news possible about Spears. The accident is no more than running a shopping cart into a car and it is all over the news. I found this headline on the front page of CNN.com. It is almost frustrating how much we as the media dig into the lives of the stars we love.
It's obvious that Spears is doing a lot better than she was previously, but it is almost like we have to dig up any type of information about her to try to convey that she is still this messed up pop star that she has been in the past few years. I know she is in the public eye, but I people really need to get on with their own life and stop paying attention the lives of celebrities.
Everytime I hear the name Britany I automatically want to SPEAR someone in the face. I totally agree they should stop reporting such nonsense. Maybe her stupid behavior would stop if the attention it got her stopped too.
Britney just needs to go away. Her music was good, but she is yesterday's news and I don't want to have to stop what I'm doing just to see her on the T.V.
Isn't talking about her completely defeating the point?
