Octopuses Acting as Humans

I found and interesting case on two octopuses that were almost acting as if they were teenagers. The octopuses were holding hands and seen "flirting" with one another. Now obviously octopuses have the same reproductive thoughts as other animals and even humans, but in this specific case a male octopus was reaching for the female with a tentacle out. I think this is pretty comical because the male is almost asking the female for a date. The scientist says that if the female rejects you the male moves on and will actually hand pick another female that has characteristics it is looking for such as larger female that can produce a large load of eggs.

It seems to me that this new knowledge reenacts the everyday lives of teenagers. I think we have underestimated the knowledge of these creatures just because of the way they look, but it is interesting how there characters are no different than what I might see at a high school or even on campus.
