"Miss Bimbo"

There is a new online game site where young girls are playing a game entitled, "Miss Bimbo." This game is a lot like "The Sims" game where you create a character, but these characters are bimbo girls. In this game you are to give your "Bimbo" diet pills because they are called on the site, "the easier way to eat." The point of the game is to get attitude points which are collected from going to the tanning bed, meeting a target weight, getting plastic surgery, and getting boyfriends. Girls as young at 8 years old are playing this game, and what does it say to them? At this age young girls easily relate to others, so many of them want to be just like their Bimbo. These are sending all of the wrong messages. The game was created by two men and they think that everyone is just ignoring the positive side. It's hard for me to see a positive side of buying your bimbo breast implants and making her take diet pills to help her lose weight.

This is awful! I wonder what the creators feel are the positive aspects of this game. It is a scary thought that girls as young as eight years old are able to play; that is dangerously young to be receiving messages like that already. It really irritates me as well that the creators were two men. They obviously have no perspective on what it's like to be a young girl growing up in today's society. Interesting post.

At first I thought this post was a joke. I cannot believe "Miss Bimbo" is a real game. It sounds to me like two guys were sitting at home, because they have no lives, and thought this game up when they were on drugs. Then they had the brilliant idea of cashing in on it. Pathetic.

I find this to be awful. I have an eight year old sister who is already affected by the media (sometimes I'll find her talking about how she thinks she's fat and how she needs to eat less so she doesn't get fat- which is NOT true) and to think that she could be exposed to something like this pisses me off. The people who created this are ignorant, they obviously do not know the effects that things like this have on young girls. Hopefully not too many girls are exposed to this, it teaches all the wrong messages.
