The academic advisor will work in a team-orientated Student Services office with pre-journalism students, journalism majors, and journalism minors in the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications. This position will occasionally meet with prospective high school and transfer students in a recruitment capacity. The advisor will assist with maintenance of accurate records, scheduling, scholarship coordination and proofing of materials. Application review begins Oct. 2, 2018.
Responsible for all student recruitment efforts of the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications, coordinating with the Office of Admissions, the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, the assistant dean for student services, journalism faculty and staff, high schools and journalism education associations.
