Saving Image
Once you have captured or imported your image, opened it in Photoshop, resized it, and sharpened it, then you are ready to save the image for your online story.
Again if you have multiple images opened in Photoshop be sure to select the image you want to save.
Click File -> Click Save for Web
A complex looking Save for Web dialog box will pop up, but don’t worry it’s easy to navigate.

If your Save for Web dialog box only has one or two pictures displayed, click on the 4-up tab in the upper left hand corner.

The image in the upper left hand corner of the dialog box is your original image. Under the image it should say
Original:followed by the name of the file. Right below the file name will be file size of the original image.
Make sure to select JPEG in the preset options box on the right side of the screen.
The three non-original images are compressed to various qualities that effect the appearance of the image and the file size of the image. Below each of the three images will be the new file size, the image quality number, and the download time and speed.

The idea behind giving you three options is for you to select the image that looks the best but doesn’t have an enourmous file size.
Once you’ve selected the image you want click Save in the upper right hand corner of the Save For Web dialog box, which is above the presets options box.
