Photos, still images and graphics, play a vital role in visual storytelling. Images won’t work with every multimedia story, but, when used correctly, they may be the easiest option for adding visual content to your story. This section will teach you how to clean up still images from video or digital photographs and embed them in your online story.
A few notes about images:
- Take your own photographs.
- Create your own graphs and charts.
- Do not lift images from other web sites.
- If you get an image from a source, you must get the photographers permission in order to use it. You should have proof of this permission in case your professor asks for it.
- Do not get caught with images that aren’t yours, this is called plagiarism and it holds very serious consequences.
