The Vault

The Vault is the network where you can save images, documents or other small files to be accessed at a later date.

  1. Click on the Desktop and hit Apple+K on the keyboard. This will bring up the first Connect to Server window.

  2. The server address for the vault is afp://ehub.journalism.ku.edu

  3. Once you’ve entered the correct server address, click Connect

  4. This will bring up the second Connect to Server window.

  5. Type in your user name and password, (you will receive a user name and password at the beginning of the semester) then click Connect

  6. This will bring up the ProfessorX window. Scroll down to choose Vault, then click OK

  7. If you have correctly followed these steps, the following icon should now appear on the desktop.

  8. Now you need to open the Vault and create a new folder with a title for that date in the following format…8.25.05
