Posting Text
Posting a text-only story is very easy. To start a new story, login to MovableType by going to http://ehub.journalism.ku.edu/admin.
Click the Log in to Movable Type link and enter your Movable type username and password.

Select the Write Entry button or choose Entry from the “Create” drop-down menu. (If you are updating a previous post, click on Entries in the “Manage” drop-down menu)

Enter your headline in the Title field
Select the applicable category in the primary category drop-down menu
Enter the text of your story in the Entry Body field. Please remember that paragraphs should be separated by a blank line. Do not indent any of your paragraphs.
In the excerpt field you will enter a brief summary of what your story is all about. Write a one to two sentence tease that gives a basic idea of what your story is about. It’s called a tease because you want someone to want to read your story. Don’t give it all away, but do try to summarize the basic gist of the story. Some good examples of both headlines and teases are included at the end of this section.
If your post is only a draft, select Draft in the Post Status drop-down menu. To publish your story, select Publish. Then click Save to save all changes.
