New technology only leads to newer technology. The rate of technological advancement only increases with every passing moment. Although seemingly unaware of the hundreds of advertisements we see daily, these ads do reach our subconscious and fuel our consumerist actions.
The future of technology will purely be focused on the production of advertisements, resulting in new ways of displaying the ad. Currently, society has been accustomed to viewing billboards, commercials, flyers, magazines, newspapers, and other print products as mediums of advertising. However, this new Media 3.0 will be the destruction of these paper mediums (newspapers, magazines, flyers, etc.) as a form of advertisement, and the news itself. Everything will, literally, be digital.
Advertisement depicting television screens will be everywhere from our elementary school hallways to the busiest intersections of the city. There will be constant advertisements rotating every 30 seconds. Furthermore, there will be only one company that controls and publicizes these ads. This company will also be in control of news production and its distribution as well. The news will only cast a favorable image of the government. Therefore, there will be one ultimate media source.
