Technology is always changing. That is what is so fascinating about the world today. The smallest ideas like creating a social network on the web or putting homemade videos on the web blossom into things that no one ever thought would be possible. With the new technology comes new territory. For social networks such as myspace, facebook and second life it seems like the possibilities of where theses things can go are endless.
The major form of people receiving news seems to come from the internet. In the future the news topics will probably stay the same, but the way you receive it may be different. Innovators are finding new ways to use the two things we use the most in life, our cell phones and the internet and are using that to tell us what is going on in the world. An idea of what the future may hold is your computer on your cell phone. The idea sounds bizarre, but the idea of putting thousands of songs in a 4x2 inch box sounded crazy at first too. The phone could have a USB port that could connect to a screen and keyboard that would give you direct access. Cell phones would take on a whole new meaning. On one piece of technology you could call someone to see where they are and also check breaking news in the world as it comes in.
This idea may sound similar to the iPhone, but you can’t hook you’re iPhone up to a monitor. As for blogs they will still be around but the quality of the blogs will be enhanced. If a phone was also a computer the amount of bloggers would probably increase. Instead of pay phone booths you could have booths with a screen and keyboard and people could blog even faster than ever about things that are right in front of them.
Marketing would not be too hard for something like this because cell phones and the internet are so common in society. This idea may even be a PR or marketers dream. Everything they need actually at the tip of their fingers, just in their pocket.
