Day 2 Is Even Worse!

I thought being "Media Free" on Sunday was a great idea because I was going to the chiefs game and wouldn't be tempted to get on the internet. However, this task was far from easy.

The day started out on the wrong foot when I woke up to the obnoxious alarm clock my roommate lent me since I normally use my cellular phone as an alarm. Of course regular clocks do not set themselves back automatically like cellular phones do for daylight savings time, thus I was up and ready a whole hour early.

An hour later my boyfriend picked me up for the Chiefs game and we made our way out to Arrowhead Stadium. As we walked into the stadium we were put into separate security check lines according to gender. After getting through the security check mobs of people were making a mad dash for their seats and I realized that I had lost my boyfriend. Even better, I didn't have a cell phone to locate him. I finally found him on my way to our seats and frantically explained that today I didn't have a cell phone so we couldn't wander away from each other.

After the game, the day got easier and it was actually pretty relaxing not having to answer my phone or check my facebook profile. Unfortunately, I got so used to not having my phone and I forgot it in my boyfriend's car. We realized this after he drove home to Topeka, and now I am going on my second day without a cell phone!

Just to let you know, day 2 is even worse.
