The Fight Against Cancer

Many people have worn the Livestrong bracelet around their wrists for years now. These people have been promoting the "social good" of uniting those who have lost their loved ones to cancer. On Facebook there is an application by Jeff and Scott Rozic promoting the Livestrong charity and can be added to your Facebook account. By adding this application to your account a yellow Livestrong bracelet will appear on your profile for others to see.

Creator, Scott Rozic also gives answers to questions on the discussion page of the Livestrong profile. For instance, where people can donate and purchase a bracelet by providing those interested with a link to do so. The donations received are used to fight for a cure for cancer.

The Livestrong application provides people a chance to unite with others on Facebook to talk about friends, family, and anyone affected by cancer. Jeff and Scott Rozic are networking people from all over the world by asking members on Facebook to add this application. These creators are trying to create a viral fundraiser for this organization meaning that nearly everyone on Facebook will be asked to add this application.

However, it seems that they have not yet accomplished this goal. Currently, this application is not effective and has only 1,125 daily active users viewing and taking part in the discussions. This application is fairly new to Facebook and the creators are going to continue to try to reach people from all over the world. With time the Livestrong application has the opportunity to be one of the largest social networks on facebook, if the viral fundraising aspect works out.

Hi, thanks for the comment. I guess I'm not sure how you think it's not effective, in a few weeks 25,000 people have added the application. Reading the fight cancer wall has over 75 daily motivational statements from people impacted and fighting cancer.

Also if you don't mind updating your post there is a typo above, it's "Rozic" not "Rozik".

Thank you for the nice mention!
