Support the Campaign for Breast Cancer

On Facebook I found an organized cause for Support the Campaign for Breast Cancer. This
group was formed by using the Cause application on Facebook. It currently is one of the top
five causes in total members, its total members last time I looked was 2,205,327. The cause
was created by Dr. Eric Ding from Harvard school of Public Health.

With this application Dr. Ding and the School of Public Health are trying to raise awareness
for breast cancer and finding its causes, finding treatments, and preventions. This
application is very successful in my mind because of the vast number of members and good sum
of money donated to the cause, which has raised around a little over $44,000. Also the group
has great descriptions and an outline talking about the cause. Plus the group has multiple
links to more information on breast cancer. Some of the links are like educational
information and another one is a breast cancer calculator, where you can calculate your
risk of having breast cancer.

Overall this application is diverse in the information it offers in raising awareness for
breast cancer. It can be said in my opinion this cause is succeeding in many ways with
raising some money for research and just raising awareness with the diverse group of total
members it has.
