The Facebook Group "Fight Animal Cruelty" aims to put an end to animal suffering.
There are various methods which the group creator, Jessica Mendoza, is trying to promote the cause.
The group homepage has a Media Board where group members can post videos and articles that are relevant to the topic. These videos usually show how animals are made to suffer and along with showcasing the plight of animals, these videos also aim to touch people so that they are more eager to donate.
The creator has also put a link to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) on the group's homepage. Anyone clicking on this link will be directed to a page listing all the details of ASPCA and all the non-profit organizations affiliated with it. This site also lists the main website of ASPCA and has a direct link to it. This way anyone who is interested in obtaining more information about ASPCA or about the different ways in which they can help the cause can just visit the website. Through the website, people can adopt a dog online, find various ways to donate, find out how to take good care of their pets and so on.
The methods used by this group to promote its cause seem to be working since the group has 162,250 members and $2,927 in donations so far.
