Sparks Fly in Texas

HUNTSVILLE, Texas-- Recently, the great state of Texas has accomplished a goal thats been in work since the year of 1982 and in turn helped support reasons to believe yet again that they are one of the more progressive states in the North America.

With the execution, Texas has vaulted themselves even further past the rest of the competition by hitting the elusive number of 400 deaths in the past 20 years. The man executed, Johnny Ray Conner, was the 21st criminal to be put to death in 2007 alone. The court systems, happy with their most recent victory of 400, are still and will always be aiming for the sky.

They've upped their output to amazing standards, with 3 inmates lined up already for next week and an output of executions that is 4 times as much than any other state. A local native of the state, Jacob Scott, was quoted as saying, “Well we're happy with the 400, but we're obviously not stopping there. What I'd really like to see in the next 5 years is our ultimate goal of 1,000. I mean come on, as they say, everything is bigger in Texas.”
