NFL Demands Bettis return Super Bowl Ring

Pittsburgh, PA-- After admitting in his autobiography that he faked an injury to prevent getting cut, NFL Commissioner Roger Goddell has demanded that former Pittsburgh Steeler star Jerome Bettis must return his Super Bowl Ring from the 2006 season.
Jerome Bettis, former NFL Running Back, wrote in his autobiography "The Bus: My Life in and Out of a Helmet" that during training camp of the 2000 NFL season, he faked a knee injury. Bettis wrote the reason he did it was because he was worried that he would lose his spot as starting Running Back to former teammate Kevin Hartley. Bettis faked the injury, knowing that an NFL team can't cut someone while they're injured during training camp. Bettis would later hold the starting position . After releasing the news to the media, Roger Goddell was furious.
Goddell held a press conference the following day. He stated "When I first heard this story, I thought 'Ha! You got jokes.' But when I read the pre-release of the book, I said 'Oh Hell No! You cant get away with this, not on my watch!! '" He continued with, "I'm Roger Goddell dammit, do you know what I did to Pacman (Jones)? Bettis, I want that ring back now!"
Bettis was unable to be reached for comment, however his agent told reporters "Unfortunately I have not been able to get ahold of my client since breaking the news to him. I'm guessing he's in fear of his life I don't know, but as soon as I find him, I will bring him to you. Thank you, that is all."
