WASHINGTON, DC - A White House wedding is underway! Jenna Bush, daughter to President Bush, announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend, Henry Hager, last Thursday.
She told reporters that they plan on tying the knot next summer in the White House ballroom, although, the room will be transformed into a wild jungle theme. Jenna plans on walking down the aisle surrounded by vines, tress, exotic flowers and live animals.
According to the bride-to-be, each guest will be required to wear a jungle-inspired ensemble, as well as sip on Jungle Juice throughout the evening. Additionally, Jenna's twin sister, Barbara, will be the maid of honor. Nevertheless, she suggests that this is only because "mom said".
When asked about his daughters engagement and the future wedding, President Bush remarked, " Well shoot. I just think this is a special occasion. I want my little peanut to have her way. Heck, if she wants me to dress up as the king of the jungle, by golly, I'll do it! I mean, I'm already the king of America, why not be a gorilla at my baby's wedding? Or was it Tarzan? Aw shoot, I don't know".
