From the Crib to the Big Pin

WATAUGA, Texas.- A two year and his five year old brother are currently being charged with trafficking marijuana in their Fort Worth, Texas foster home.

Police found 10 lbs of marijuana, rolling, papers, water pipes, and scales used to distribute and smoke the illegal substance. This is not the first time these brothers have made the news this year. The two young brothers were living with their uncle when police found video footage of the boys smoking marijuana supplied by their uncle.

"I have never seen anything like this quite so disturbing," said Bruce Ure, director of public safety for the Watauga Police Department. "Our children count on us to protect them; these individuals did everything but protect these children."

There were many concerns about the long term effects that this would have on the two boys. The result is just as shocking as the story that broke just over six months ago.

"I knew something had changed with the other boys living in the house once the two brothers moved in. I had to put a lock on the refrigerator after waking up many mornings to find all of are food had been eaten. I began to get worried after discovering that all the young boys living in the house had chronic coughs and constant red eyes. I took them to the doctor last week and it was then that we discovered what was going on,” said foster home parent, Jane Weathers.
