Mr. Chow Gets Sued

Michael Chow, the owner of the famous Mr. Chow restaurants in places such as Los Angeles, New York, and London is being sued. Mr. Chow's are known as celebrity hot spots. Michael Chow is being sued for allegedly abusing his staff. One report includes how he made a waiter lay on the floor while he kicked him. Also it is speculated that he had taken tip money from the waiters as a means of punishment. I find this outrageous. My dad is a restaurateur and I cannot imagine him treating his staff without the utmost respect. I hope that this is looked carefully into and Mr. Chow himself is punished and loses a lot of his own "tips".

Does it ever freak you out when you think about how these people got into the high-society status? If this Mr.Chow guys is making so much money that he has celebs flocking to his restaraunts all over the globe, then this is likely the best he's ever had it. Does that mean, his abusing and stealing from his wait staff is how he acts when he's happy??
