Man Orders Pizza For A Homeless Person For His Last Meal

A Tennessee inmate, Philip Workman decided that for his last meal he wanted a homeless person to recieve a pizza. The 53 year old man wanted a vegetarian pizza to be delivered to any homeless person in Nashville. The prison would not grant his wish. He is to be executed Wednesday morning at 1 am.
First of all I find this extremely bizarre that his request for a homeless person would be a pizza. At first I thought if he felt like being generous why not go all the way and give them a steak. After reading the article I learned that the average "last meal" for death row inmates cannot be over $20. That is shocking to me. I just thought this article was interesting to share.

More than 20 dollars does seem like it's pushing it, considering i doubt the last meal is ever all that spectacular. It would be interesting to do a study on what the most typical last meals are.
