Leo is being sued for building a basketball court in his yard and ruining his neighbors yard. The neighbors are suing him for 250k for ruining their deck and uprooting some of their plants. Sounds pretty stupid to me, it obviously wasn't intentional and I wonder just how bad it really was. Thats a ton of money...but who knows.
"Ronald and Joan Linclau say they suffered at least $250,000 in damages when DiCaprio had a basketball court built outside his home in the Hollywood Hills in July 2004. The Linclaus, who live next to the actor, say that during the building of the court their property was excavated and some of their plants were removed. This, they claim in the suit, caused support for the couple’s backyard pool and deck to destabilize"

That is the lamest reason to sue somebody and and as a fan of Leo I am appauld at this. However, if you want to get money I guess this is not a bad way to go about it. By the way you spelled his name Dicrapio as opposed to Dicaprio...I am just curious as to whether that was intentional or just an accident?

I would like to see the proof...sounds kinda absurd to me. But that amount of money is pocket change to Leo, so really is it that big of a deal?

That was a total mistake. I did not mean to spell his name like that. I love Leo and I think he is an awesome actor...loved him since Whats eating Gilbert Grape and Basketball Diaries.

I assume that since these people are neighbors to Leo they have a nice amount of money as it is and are fairly well off. They're just grubbing for money because they can. I think it's pretty absurd. If I was neighbors with Leo I'd be hitting him up for a little one-on-one or maybe a game of PIG instead of for $250,000.

I feel like this is just another attempt for non-famous people to get their name out there while trying to get money from a famous person.
