crash cab?

The Discovery Channel does not appeal to a wide variety of viewers, myself included. When I stumbled onto a brand new game show an afternoon or two ago, I watched what the channel had to offer completely voluntarily. The show, hosted by Ben Bailey, is called Cash Cab , and may be one of the best ideas television writers ever came up with. The premise is this: get in the cab where you are, get out of the cab where you're going. Acting as a cab driver, Bailey picks up the unknowing passengers. Once in the cab, the "cab driver" morphs into a game show host you fires trivia questions at the patrons. These questions start in easy $25 increments, and get increasingly more difficult and expensive. Get a question right, the participant wins the money for that question. If the contestant gets it wrong, however, he or she will be hit with a strike. If the contestant tallies three strikes, they are dropped off no matter where the cab is. Not only is the game itself amusing, it is also a wreck waiting to happen. Bailey is paying attention fto the road an impressively well for also hosting a TV show simultaneously!

Haha, Alissa. I thought I was the only one who watched that show. I always wonder if he has all of the questions and answers memorized before he starts or what. People can make some good money on that show!

Ryan Knuth:

I have seen this show and I like to play along with it as I am sure most people do when they watch a show like this. I agree though I think it is impressive that Bailey hasn't had an accident yet because you would think it might be a tad bit tough to ask questions and drive a car. Guess we will just have to wait for the report telling us that Bailey wrecked the van.
