Imus, Rev. Al & Forgiveness?

Hey all. I found this comic by Pat Oliphant in the local section of the The Kansas City Star from the Monday, April 16 issue.

I thought it was interesting and worth showing because it relates to the conversation we had in class last week regarding Jason Whitlock's article about Imus and the Rutgers women's basketball team.

Since the picture is too large to fit on this page, I have provided the link to view it.

Enjoy!

Ryan Knuth:

I was actually watching Jon Stewart last night and he mentioned that there was a 7 second delay for Imus's talk show. It was funny how Stewart commented on it by saying "oh s--t, did he just say that?" It is funny because no one basically noticed that he said it, or because of his personality and style maybe they felt that it was not as bad as it has came out to be.
