March Madness is upon us!

The March Madness fever is here and everyone has there channels on CBS to watch all the basketball games. EVen for those that aren't watching the games, they are checking the Internet to see if the teams that they chose in their brackets won. It seems like the NCAA Tournament is getting to be a bigger deal with youth today. It's all throughout the media, and it even has its links to new media. CBSsports.com has a new feature called March Madness On Demand and it televises all of the games on the Internet that aren't televised on TV. How many people filled out a bracket and are paying attention to the tournament? Are there any people that haven't been paying attention? Have you heard people talking about brackets or the tournament in general. To me, an event like this is huge news to our youth generation because it brings people together either to watch the games or even just talk about games or the March Madness fever.

I feel like it's a huge deal this year because Kansas has a great chance of winning it! I saw that sports illistrated picked us to win it all which sucks because it always jinxs the team they chooose! My room in my sorority house decided to have a pool and it was quite histarical watching some of my roomates choose winners based on mascots and colors! I had heard of girls choosing like that but i just thought it was a joke...i guess it really does happen! anywase ROCK CHAWK JAYHAWK!

Steph Schneider:

March Madness is crazier than ever, primarily because we have such a good chance this year with our team thankfully making it past the first round.
I became more and more interested in college basketball and March Madness mainly when I came to college, it was not as a big of a deal in high-school. I have now found myself having three brackets, but it is not unusual.
With March Madness growing onto Facebook, and other thousands of web sites, its so easy now to become involved with this craze. I loved getting invited into different pools on Facebook, because it ranks you as to how good you are doing. With technology ranking us within our pool's group, and within our entire facebook connections, and then within the entire facebook community who had joined a pool...it keeps people interested. I think with all of this, its just another way to keep everyone watching our Jayhawks!
Go Ku!

I've watched pretty much every game this year and holy crap...these games have been amazing. All of them seem to be going into the final seconds. I think the reason everyone is so into March Madness is because any team can win any game. It's so much more exciting than the regular season.

So sad to read now...however, this tournmant has been awesome (minus the whole ku losing, but we wont go there) There truely have been some great games to watch. I just wish KU could have made it, tear.
