Mark Cuban likes blogs

I found this blog post from Mark Cuban to be pretty interesting. Cuban, one of the richest men out there, really makes an effort to make Mavericks fans' experience more personal, and it's interesting to see someone with so much money saying that traditional media is all corporate.

I like his view on why media has changed as far as time is concerned. Busy schedules play a big part in where and how you access news. But do you think it has so much to do with time as is does how we have evolved media as a whole? Would we ever go back to the old ways even if we had time? I think not.

I'm not a big Dallas Mavericks fan, but I have to say that Mark Cuban's blog explained traditional and non traditional media perfectly: "99% of blogs are about what someone has to say. 99% of traditional media is about making money." Most bloggers don't really care about making money, but just getting their news out there or just getting a reaction from readers. On the other hand, it seems like traditional media tries to do the same, but making money is also up there on their list of prorities. Since reading the Mark Cuban blog, I've searched for other blogs of his to see what he has to say.
